Twin Mustang F-82G fighter aircraft model kit 1/72

Kit# 5257

Introduced in 1946, the Twin Mustang F-82G was a radical departure from conventional single-fuselage airplanes. It was not, however, simply two P-51 Mustangs paired together. Instead, the F-82G was more aerodynamic to achieve greater range at higher speeds. It could be controlled from either cockpit - the main pilot had a full range of instruments, while the co-pilot only had relief and emergency instruments.

Kit features opening canopies, a choice of open or closed gun compartments, movable props, optional rockets, optional bombs, fuel tanks, a radar pod, two figures and decals.
